Since 1989, he began his career employment from Bank of America Futures Inc, thereafter followed by Bankers Trust Futures Inc, Barclays ZW Futures Inc and Smith Barney Shearson Inc (Citigroup). Currently, he writes as a popular financial columnist for The Borneo Post, Star, Oriental Daily News and financial magazine like Capital Asia, SME Magazine etc besides conducting yearly Futures trading and hedging education for Singapore Exchange (SGX). Dar has been featured in Channel News Asia while giivng his opinion as a Commodity Expert.. Now, he functions as a hedge advisor and trainer with his professional seminars having covered 10 countries.
